Artist Bio

Claudia Reese, already an established artist, started Cera-Mix Studios in 1981. Dedicated to the idea of bringing contemporary art into the home, Claudia is always designing new and exciting patterns and adding them to her line. The colors and patterns can be mixed, matched or used solo, all of which give a stunning effect.

Claudia has been involved in making sculpture since she got her MFA from Indiana University. Her sculpture is stylized representational and ranges from full-scale human figures to a recent series of monkeys (see Sculpture Gallery). Each piece takes 2-6 months to complete and is one-of-a-kind. Cera-Mix Studios runs full time, year round.
